Our HILITE seat posts can be installed using a variety of different clamping systems.
We can install a variety of different clamping systems such as Thomson, Moots, Tune or even classical seat post systems. The differences between these systems are in the ratio of weight and clamping force, seat post holder (diameter) and design. You can choose from a range of diameters such as 27.2 mm, 30.9 mm, 31.6 mm, or a diameter of your choice. The offset of the seat post depends on your seating position above the bottom bracket and can be 0 mm, 10 mm, 25 mm or an offset of your choice. The post can be ordered brushed or sandblasted, and you can optionally order integrated caps or ‘stubbys’ for integrated seat posts in a variety of versions. Which drop bar shifters do you recommend?
Shimano and SRAM both work well. Shimano shifters require less force when shifting from the hoods, while SRAM has a shorter lever throw when shifting from the drops. It depends on your preference.
What has been improved from Hibox C1 to Hibox C2?

Can I also use SRAM GX or NX shifters?
Yes, but with limitations:
- You can only shift one gear at a time
- You'll need both a left and a right shifter

My crank touches the Hibox. What should I do?
Make sure to pull the crank fully outward before tightening. For details, please refer to the Pinion crank installation guide.

Can I combine the Hibox C2 with mechanical brakes?
