Masterpiece Titanium-Carbon · Allroad / Road

Precision manufacturing meets custom geometry. This allroad road bike combines 3D-printed titanium lugs with filament-wound carbon tubes. Every frame is made to measure in our workshop on the Dreispitz in Basel, tailored to your measurements, riding position and intended use.

Construction & manufacturing

Additively manufactured titanium lugs

Head tube, bottom bracket and seat clusters are produced in Ti-6Al-4V using selective laser melting. Additive manufacturing enables load-specific wall thicknesses and internal reinforcements. Lug angles and tube lengths are matched to your individual frame geometry.

Filament-wound carbon tubes

The carbon tubes are produced using filament winding on specially developed tooling. Fibre paths and tube dimensions are designed for stiffness and controlled flex, with the aim of combining direct power transfer with targeted vibration damping.

Structural bonding

The carbon tubes are precisely bonded to the titanium lugs. Design, cutting, joining and finishing take place in our Basel workshop.

Ride character & intended use

Designed for sporty allroad riding, long endurance rides and performance road. Custom geometry combines your preferred riding position with handling tailored to your intended use. The Allroad version offers tyre clearance up to 38 mm.

Packages & prices

Framesets include the frame, fork, headset and thru-axles. Both framesets include made-to-measure frame geometry.

  • Frameset with standard full-carbon fork: CHF 6,500.
  • Frameset with Custom Carbon-Titanium Fork: CHF 7,500. Includes a custom frame and a custom fork with individually specified rake and axle-to-crown length.

Allroad Performance

Example builds with Shimano Ultegra Di2 or SRAM Force AXS: approximately CHF 11,500 with the standard full-carbon fork, or approximately CHF 12,500 with the Custom Carbon-Titanium Fork.

Allroad Flagship

Example build with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, Dura-Ace C50 wheels and a fully integrated cockpit: approximately CHF 14,500 with the standard full-carbon fork, or approximately CHF 15,500 with the Custom Carbon-Titanium Fork.

The custom-fork upgrade adds CHF 1,000 to either complete-bike configuration. Complete-bike prices are indicative for the example builds. The final specification, scope of supply and price are agreed during your personal consultation.

Your route to a custom frame

  1. Consultation & geometry: We discuss your measurements, riding style, intended use and riding position.
  2. Design: Tubes, lug angles and geometry are coordinated in CAD.
  3. Manufacturing: The prepared titanium and carbon components are joined in the frame jig.
  4. Finish & build: Surface finishes and equipment are agreed individually.

Faq's

Which drop bar shifters do you recommend?

Shimano and SRAM both work well. Shimano shifters require less force when shifting from the hoods, while SRAM has a shorter lever throw when shifting from the drops. It depends on your preference.

What has been improved from Hibox C1 to Hibox C2?

  • Larger gear wheel → less dead travel
  • Increased module size
  • Improved durability
  • Easier installation
  • Reduced size and weight

Can I also use SRAM GX or NX shifters?

Yes, but with limitations:

  • You can only shift one gear at a time
  • You'll need both a left and a right shifter
  • The shifters need to be modified

My crank touches the Hibox. What should I do?

Make sure to pull the crank fully outward before tightening. For details, please refer to the Pinion crank installation guide.

Can I combine the Hibox C2 with mechanical brakes?

Yes, absolutely! It works with SRAM mechanical shift-brake levers (brifters) without any extra parts — just a small modification is needed. The required steps are explained in detail at: gebla.de/.
