Shift cable housing ferrules

We recommend unsealed shift cable housing ferrules for noticeably lower operating forces, based on our workshop experience. Sealed ferrules, such as sealed Shimano SP40/SP41 types, can add friction and are therefore not recommended for this setup.

P1.18 crank clearance

For older CNC-machined Pinion cranks, follow the crank installation instructions on the final page of the manual: central bolt 10 Nm; the remaining 1-2 mm axial movement is normal; pull the crank fully outwards to the stop, then tighten both pinch bolts gradually and alternately to 6 Nm each. In our workshop experience, forged cranks are not affected by this clearance issue.
