Printed titanium. Custom geometry. Pinion Smart.Shift. The HILITE sPinion Gravel Titan-Titan combines titanium tubes with purpose-designed 3D-printed components and an electronically shifted Pinion gearbox. Built to measure in our workshop on the Dreispitz in Basel, it is tailored to your riding position and intended use.

Construction & manufacturing

3D-printed frame components

The seat lug, Pinion gearbox bridge, both dropouts and the dropout inserts are additively manufactured. These purpose-designed components connect the titanium tube structure and integrate the gearbox and rear wheel into the frame design.

Titanium tube construction

Titanium tubes and printed titanium components are welded to create a made-to-measure frame. Tube lengths and frame angles are coordinated with your measurements, riding style and preferred position.

Two fork options

Choose our purpose-built, fully titanium 3D-printed fork or a full-carbon fork. The illustrated configuration features the titanium fork.

Ride character & intended use

Designed for gravel riding, varied allroad routes and long days in the saddle. Pinion Smart.Shift provides electronic gear changes, while the Gates Carbon Drive belt transmits power to the rear wheel. Custom geometry places your fit and handling preferences at the centre of the build.

Packages & prices

Both prices are for a complete bike with made-to-measure frame geometry.

  • Complete bike with full-carbon fork: CHF 11,000.
  • Complete bike with 3D-printed titanium fork: CHF 12,000.

Both builds include Pinion Smart.Shift, Gates Carbon Drive, the carbon wheelset with DT Swiss 240s hubs and Aerolite spokes, a titanium seatpost, a 3D-printed saddle and a full-carbon cockpit with fully integrated cable routing. The titanium fork adds CHF 1,000. Individual specifications and any additional requests are agreed during consultation.

Optional SON lighting package

For riding after dark, the sPinion Gravel Titan-Titan is available with a SON hub dynamo, SON Edelux II LED headlight and SON LED rear light. The hub dynamo replaces the DT Swiss 240s front hub and powers the lights while riding.

Lighting package supplement: CHF 800.

Your route to a custom bike

  1. Consultation & geometry: We discuss your measurements, riding style, routes and riding position.
  2. Design: Frame geometry, titanium tubes and printed components are coordinated in CAD.
  3. Manufacturing: The prepared titanium components are welded in the frame jig and finished in our Basel workshop.
  4. Finish & build: We assemble your bike with the selected fork and agreed components.

Faq's

Which drop bar shifters do you recommend?

Shimano and SRAM both work well. Shimano shifters require less force when shifting from the hoods, while SRAM has a shorter lever throw when shifting from the drops. It depends on your preference.

What has been improved from Hibox C1 to Hibox C2?

  • Larger gear wheel → less dead travel
  • Increased module size
  • Improved durability
  • Easier installation
  • Reduced size and weight

Can I also use SRAM GX or NX shifters?

Yes, but with limitations:

  • You can only shift one gear at a time
  • You'll need both a left and a right shifter
  • The shifters need to be modified

My crank touches the Hibox. What should I do?

Make sure to pull the crank fully outward before tightening. For details, please refer to the Pinion crank installation guide.

Can I combine the Hibox C2 with mechanical brakes?

Yes, absolutely! It works with SRAM mechanical shift-brake levers (brifters) without any extra parts — just a small modification is needed. The required steps are explained in detail at: gebla.de/.
