We can build the HILITE Titanium Trekking bicycle frame as stiff and versatile that you can use it on expeditions. Our expedition bicycle is developed, to sustain difficult conditions for most of your discovery tours. With up to 160 kg system load our titanium frame is available in a gentlemen and in a women's version.
We can build the frame for 26'' or 28'' wheels. We suggest Schwalbe tyres, a hydraulic Disc brake or a Magura rim brake with a Tubus Titanium rear rack. Furthermore you have the choice of the Rohloff Speedhub or a Pinion gearbox.
We build for you a super stiff expedition bicycle or a sleak and clean urban bicycle. With derailleur shifting, hub- or BB gear box combined with a Gates Carbon drive.

Faq's
Which drop bar shifters do you recommend?
Shimano and SRAM both work well. Shimano shifters require less force when shifting from the hoods, while SRAM has a shorter lever throw when shifting from the drops. It depends on your preference.
What has been improved from Hibox C1 to Hibox C2?

Can I also use SRAM GX or NX shifters?
Yes, but with limitations:
- You can only shift one gear at a time
- You'll need both a left and a right shifter
- The shifters need to be modified

My crank touches the Hibox. What should I do?
Make sure to pull the crank fully outward before tightening. For details, please refer to the Pinion crank installation guide.

Can I combine the Hibox C2 with mechanical brakes?
Yes, absolutely! It works with SRAM mechanical shift-brake levers (brifters) without any extra parts — just a small modification is needed. The required steps are explained in detail at: gebla.de/.
