The frame is designed for disc brakes up to 180 mm size rotors and comes with a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle dropout. Furthermore, the frame comes with the 12x142mm thrue-axle standard which bring more stability and stiffness. The advantage is achieved by an enlarged bearing surface of the "clamped material", ie. There is more material at the contact points of the dropout / axis more than in the case of a system with a 9mm quick release. We are using a 12mm axle with quick release, which can also be demounted without tools.
