How It Works
The Pinion gearbox, located at the bottom bracket, uses an enclosed transmission system renowned for reliability. However, it traditionally relies on a twist shifter. The Hibox changes the game by replacing the twist shifter with a compact housing that integrates with drop bar or trigger shifters.
The Hibox represents a leap forward in making the Pinion gearbox more versatile and accessible, ensuring a better ride for cyclists across disciplines.
Hibox C2: our second generation
With the Hibox C2, we’ve perfected our original design to deliver a superior shifting experience. Here’s how the second generation stands out:

The Shimkit, a mechanism made by Gebla, is required for all Shimano levers and can be purchased directly with the Hibox or separately from Gebla. The Shimkit requires the use of the 7x7 shifter cables, which are included with the Shimkit when bought from us.
