Rohn´s Custom Race Road Tandem Titanium Bike

Only shortly after we set up an already extremely light Rohloff tandem, we were able to beat our weight record another time! This tandem goes to Rohn from the US, who will be on the go with lightning speed with either his wife or one of his sons. The structure with a belt/chain combination on the right only side allows us to use “normal” cranks. Here it comes with two SRAM XX1. The cassette is a 10-52 from SRAM´s MTB segment and allows an extremely wide gear ratio despite the single chainring at the front. Shifting is done electronically, braking hydraulically with the SRAM Red eTap AXS. Conti Grand Prix 5000 with a width of 32 mm run on our extra high HILITE carbon rims, which promise a lot of comfort even with the increased system weight. At the moment, a complete SON light package including a hub dynamo, the subtle Tubus Airy luggage rack, and carbon aero clip ons from Profile Design are installed. Without these attachments, we can reach a total weight of 12 kg! We wish Rohn and his family a lot of fun with it and, above all, no speed traps on the way.
