Pinion dropbar racebike
An exciting randonneur for an elderly gentleman who has been climbing his local mountain in Zurich every day for years. The customer's predecessor bike served as the basis for the geometry, but this model should be more comfortable and should not only be ready for the daily commute, but also for the potential next trip around the world. So we built the customer a more stable, comfort-oriented racing bike with a longer head tube, titanium luggage rack, lighting system, and hub dynamo aka a Randonneur, a sporty touring bike. A feature of every randonneur is the racing handlebar, which this customer did not want to do without, despite the Pinion transmission. The solution was to combine Pinion's original twist grip with a hydraulic brake lever. The subtle, unobtrusive look of the bike is emphasized again by the leather saddle and the leather handlebar strap.
