Hilite Bikes is a small yet innovative team of three, led by founder and CEO Biagio Colletto. Since 2010, we have been designing and assembling custom bicycles from our shop in Basel’s Gundeldinger District. With over 15 years of experience, Biagio and the team have built a reputation for craftsmanship, precision, and a relentless drive to create bikes that exceed expectations.

Whether it’s racing bikes, gravel bikes, tandems, or touring bikes, we specialize in builds that last generations. Many feature advanced systems like Pinion or Rohloff gearboxes paired with Gates belt drives, combining performance with sustainability. When standard solutions don’t meet our standards, we innovate, creating custom components like the Hibox shifting system, tandem forks, and titanium racks.

From the initial 3D bike fitting to the final handcrafted assembly, each Hilite bike is a testament to our dedication to quality, function, and design. With a production volume of just 30–40 bikes per year, every model is meticulously crafted to suit the individual rider, whether for a 2.04-meter tall customer or a bikepacker heading to remote trails.
