Elegant, timeless and low maintanace Mixte bicycle

The customer wanted to create a real design classic made of titanium. The bike should look subtle, stylish and light - of course it should also be light - even though it is a large frame size. The split top tube became our first Mixte frame and we really like it. We combined the unusual frame design with attachments that are as special as they are suitable for everyday use. The hub gear from Rohloff is low-maintenance and provides a wide range. The belt drive from Gates is efficient and clean. To tension the belt, we use an eccentric bottom bracket instead of a more striking sliding dropout. The seat post is integrated and all cables are routed internally. Another highlight of this HILITE: the extremely simple combination of luggage rack and mudguard, which even the experienced observer only notices when you take a second look and is ideal for lower weights.
